Installing PixelChat
How to install PixelChat on your Shopify store, and what it asks permission for.

PixelChat installs from the Shopify App Store, from inside your Shopify admin. There's no code to add and no theme files to edit.
Install from the App Store
- Find PixelChat on the Shopify App Store.
- Click Install.
- Review the permissions Shopify shows you, then approve them.

What PixelChat asks permission for
Shopify shows you every permission before you approve the install. PixelChat asks for access to:
- Your products and store policies — so the assistant can answer from your real catalogue and your own policies.
- Your orders — so it can look up an order's status when a shopper gives the order number and the email used for it.
- Customer accounts — so that shoppers who sign in can check their own orders.
PixelChat uses this data only to answer your shoppers. It doesn't sell it, and it doesn't use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
